Nantong Huatong Chemical Fiber Co.,Ltd , a subsidiary controlled by Shanghai Worldbest Co.,Ltd. , is located in the scenery tourist area of Mount Wolf in Nan Tong City. Now it employs 146 people, of whom 28 are R&D technicians. The fixed assets of the company amounts to RMB 70 million and it has three domestically advanced PET/PA micro-fine DTY production line with an annual production capacity of 2600 tons. In 1996, the company was evaluated as high-tech enterprise of Jiangsu Province, and it passed the authentication of ISO9002 quality system in 1997.
Now the company focus on implementing the 6th national debt project. “ Sea island super fine filament yarn spinning project” with the total investment of RMB 65 million. When completed, the production capacity of the company will amount to 6000 tons and will become the largest compound micro-fine fiber producers national wide and the annual sales is expected to be RMB 150 million. According to the company development strategy, by the end of 2005, the annual production capacity will amount to 12 thousand tons and 30 thousand tons in 2010 , eventually become the largest international compound micro-fine fiber production base. |
