Changzhou Chemical Fiber Company is a well-known polyester filament yarn producer of domestic chemical fiber industry. It forerunner was Changzhou Synthetic Fiber Factory, which was established in 1966. In December 1995, the factory and China Worldbest Group co-invested and established Changzhou Worldbest Chemical fiber Co.,Ltd and in June 1996 the company and China Worldbest Group co-established the Shanghai Worldbest Co.,Ltd listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange. In 2000, the company became a subsidiary to Shanghai Worldbest Co.,Ltd.
The company covers 68.2 mu, of which the construction area is 50,287.95 square meters. The company employs 810 people. The total assets is RMB 469 million , and the net assets is 189 million . the major production equipment includes 13 FDY,POY spinning production lines ,14 FK6-700?FK6-900?33H?FIF10E-3 drafting false twisting machine, 6 KJKV518?VC443A drafting machine . The annual polyester filament yarn production capacity is 30 thousand tons and the annual production capacity of differential fiber chips is 50 thousand tons.
The company was evaluated as one of the 100 strongest high and new technology enterprises and AAA enterprise (special credits enterprises) rated by the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China's Jiangsu Branch. It is also a registered enterprise of ISO9001 quality system approved by the China Quality Certification Centre For Import and Export.
The major product is "Camellia" brand polyester filament yarn including POY, DT, DTY, and FDY series, including "Camellia" brand colored, interlaced, color-mixing, profiled, differential shrinkage, cationic dyeable, high-simulation fine denier, ultra-fine denier polyester fibers. They are ideal choice for fashion fabric and automobile adornment fabric industry. Some of the major products have won the "National Excellent Product Silver Medal" and "Jiangsu Famous Brand" titles. They are very popular in many overseas countries and districts, as well as in Mainland China market.
With 30 years of development, especially after the corporation with China Worldbest ,the competitive ability as well as the anti-risk ability has been greatly improved, therefore in the recent years, despite the challenge brought by the fluctuant market and the fact that many domestic chemical fiber enterprises were losing money, the company made outstanding economic achievements through market exploration, product quality supervision, internal management and technology improvement. Since 1983, each year the company added an internationally advanced polyester filament yarn production line with the total investment of RMB 10 million and the company staff work efficiently to accomplish the planning, installment, production and making profit within one year. Since it became a member of China Worldbest Group, it further improved the technical innovation ability by installing four FDY production line –four drafting false twisting machine within a short period of time, which improve the company’s production technology to the internationally advanced standard.
